How to Clean Golf Clubs
Things You’ll Need:
Steel Wool
Wire Brushes
Hard-bristled Toothbrushes
Golf Club Cleaners

Remove golf ball marks, mat marks and grass stains with golf club cleaner (found at golf shops).

Clean out grooves by scrubbing them with water and a hard-bristled toothbrush. Dry your clubs immediately after cleaning them.

Wash leather grips with saddle soap.
Tips & Warnings
If your grips become too smooth, try rubbing them with a wire brush or fine sandpaper.
Waxes to protect your irons and woods are available at golf shops.
Use covers for club heads to keep them clean and prevent scratches and chipping.
Using steel wool on any non-rusted part of your club can cause permanent damage, and you should use it gently on rusted areas.
